खरा दिपोत्सव

लहान असताना सर्वात आवडता सण कोणता ? असे कोणी विचारले की लगेच उत्तर द्यायचो ‘ दिवाळी ’. सर्वात मोठी सुट्टी या सणानिमित्त मिळायची. वेगवेगळे खाद्यपदार्थ, फटाके, नवीन कपडे …….  किती मजा. पण नेहमी हा प्रश्न मनामध्ये यायचा कि फक्त याच सणा आधी घरामध्ये इतकी साफ-सफाई का ? घरातल्या कानाकोपऱ्यातून सफाई , कपाटाचा प्रत्येक खण , घरातले एक-एक भांड ………  साफ केली जायची. पण आज ह्या सर्वांचा अर्थ समजला आहे.

भारत एक सांस्कृति प्रधान देश आहे, जिथे सण-उत्सव साजरे केले जातात.आपल्या केले वेगवान जीवनामध्ये, रोजच्या ताण-ताणावा पासून थोडेसे अलिज होऊन, सर्वांबरोबर आनंद साजरा करावा पण त्याचबरोबर प्रत्येक सणांबरोबर काही पुराणिक कथा जोडल्या जातात त्यांच्या पाठीमागे काही अर्थ आहे

 

दिवाळी हा सण ५ उत्सवांचे स्नेह सम्मेलन आहे. धनत्रयोदशी, नरकचतुर्दशी, दिवाळी, नवीन वर्ष, भाऊबीज हे पाच उत्सव विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक विचारधारांना घेऊन साजरे केले जातात. जर हा सण आध्यात्मिक  रहस्यांना समजून साजरा केला तर जीवनामध्ये एक वेगळे परिवर्तन आणू शकतो.

 

धनत्रयोदशी :–

धनत्रयोदशी अर्थात लक्ष्मी पूजन. वैदिक ऋषिंनी लक्ष्मीला संबोधित करताना श्रीसूक्त गायले आहे. ‘ “ओम महालक्ष्मी च विद्महे विष्णू पत्नी च धीमहि ,

तन्नो लक्ष्मी प्रचोदयात.”

याचा अर्थ असा आहे कि महालक्ष्मी जी विष्णुपत्नी आहे, जिचे ध्यान केल्याने माझ्या मन, बुद्धी ला प्रेरणा मिळू दे.

 

लक्ष्मी जी धनाची देवी मानली जाते पण इथे लक्ष्मीचा उपयोग करणारी माणसाची मनोवृत्ती शुद्ध असली तरच त्याचा सदउपयोग होऊ शकतो. विकृत मार्गावर वापरली जाणारी लक्ष्मी अलक्ष्मी मानली जाते. स्वार्थाच्या मार्गावर वापरली तर त्याला वित्त म्हटले जाते. परार्थासाठी वापरली जाणारी लक्ष्मी धनलक्ष्मी समजली जाते आणि प्रभूकार्यासाठी वापरली जाणारी लक्ष्मी महालक्ष्मी समजली जाते. महालक्ष्मी नेहमी हत्तीवर बसून येते असे सांगितले जाते. हत्ती हे उदारतेचे प्रतिक आहे. सांस्कृतिक कार्यामध्ये, प्रभुकार्यामध्ये उदारतेने लक्ष्मीचा वापर केला तर पिढयानपिढया लक्ष्मी त्यांच्याकडे वास करते अशी मान्यता आहे.

 

ईश्वरीय ज्ञानाअनुसार ज्ञानधन आपल्या सर्वांकडे आहे. knowledge is source of income म्हटले जाते. स्थूल आणि सूक्ष्म धन जर आपण ईश्वरीय कार्यामध्ये लावले, त्याचा सदुपयोग केला तर नक्कीच २१ जन्माचे, २१ पीढीचे सुख आपल्याला मिळू शकते. संगमयुगामध्ये  जे काही आपल्याकडे आहे त्याला परमार्थासाठी लावल्याने आपले भविष्य उज्ज्वल होऊ शकते.

 

नरक चतुर्दशी :-

ह्या दिवशी महाकाली ची पूजा केली जाते. परपीडा मध्ये लावलेली शक्ती अशक्ति आहे. स्वार्थासाठी उपयोग केला तर ती शक्ती, रक्षणार्थ लावली तर काली आणि प्रभुकार्यार्थ लावली तर ती महाकाली. तसेच स्वार्थासाठी शक्तींचा उपयोग करणारा दुर्योधन, दुसऱ्यांच्या चरणापाशी शक्ती ठेवणारा कर्ण आणि प्रभुकार्यासाठी शक्तिंचे हवन करणारा अर्जुन – महाभारतामध्ये अश्या तीन पात्रांचा उल्लेख केला जातो.

 

नरक चतुर्दशी ला काल – चतुर्दशी म्हणून ही ओळखले जाते.   प्रागज्योतिषपूर चा राजा नरकासुर आपल्या शक्तिंचा उपयोग दुसऱ्यांना कष्ट देण्यासाठी करायचा. कामवासनेने भरलेला नरकासुर ज्याने १६००० कन्यांना बंदी केले होते. अमावास्येच्या रात्री त्याचा नाश झाला. त्याच्या अत्याचारातून मुक्त झालेल्या लोकांनी दिवे लावून, नवीन कपडे घालून उत्सव साजरा केला, आनंद व्यक्त केला.

 

कलियुगाच्या ह्या अंतामध्ये मनुष्य विकारांनी आणि वासनांनी भरलेला आहे. जो पर्यंत शिवपरमात्म्याद्वारे स्वतः ची ओळख मिळत नाही तो पर्यंत अज्ञानाचा अंधःकार दूर होणार कसा ?

जीवनात खऱ्या सुख-शान्ति चा मार्ग जेव्हा मिळतो ज्ञानाचा प्रकाश जेव्हा मिळतो तेव्हा आपण आपल्यातल्याच असुराला नष्ट करू शकतो. ह्या असुरी वृत्तींचा नाश करणे म्हणजेच खरी नरक चतुर्दशी साजरी करणे होय. ह्या दिवशी विशेष चिरोटे नावाचे फूळ पायाखाली ठेवून फोडले जाते, उटणे लावून अभ्यंग स्नान केले जाते अर्थातच अवगुणांना समूळ नष्ट करून सद्गुणांनी स्वत:ला सुगंधित करण्याचा हा दिवस.

 

दिवाळी :–

ह्या दिवशी व्यापारी आपला जुना हिशोब संपवून नवीन हिशोब सुरु करतात. हिशोबाच्या वहीची पूजा केली जाते. आपण ही गत वर्षांमध्ये केलेल्या चुका, राग-द्वेष, ईर्षा-मत्सर  ………  ह्यांना नष्ट करून प्रेम, सदभावनेने ………  नवीन वर्षाची सुरुवात करण्यासाठी स्वतः ला प्रेरित करावे. ह्या दिवशी खास अभ्यंग स्नान करून नवीन कपडे घातले जातात. फराळ खाल्ला जातो.

 

 

 

नवीन वर्ष :–

नवीन वर्ष ज्याला बलिप्रतिपदा म्हटले जाते. राजा बलि ज्याचा पराभव श्रीकृष्णाने वामन अवतार घेऊन केला. राजा बलि ज्याच्यामध्ये लोभ आणि मोह हा विकार दाखवला जातो. परंतु त्याच बरोबर तो दानवीर सुद्धा दाखवला आहे. कनक आणि कांता ह्यांना बघण्याचा पवित्र दृष्टिकोन सर्वांना दिला. कनक अर्थात लक्ष्मी आणि कांता अर्थात स्त्री जाती. दोन दिवस हा उत्सव साजरा केला जातो.

 

भाऊबीज :-

ह्या नंतर भाऊबीज साजरी केली जाते. अर्थात स्त्री-पुरुष ह्यांचे पवित्र नाते, पवित्र दृष्टी रहावी. परमात्म ज्ञान आपल्याला आत्मिक दृष्टी देते. प्रत्येक आत्म्याशी आपला संबंध भाऊ-भाऊ चा आहे. जेव्हा ही दृष्टी कायम होते. तेव्हाच खरी दिपावली आपण साजरी करतो . ह्या  दृष्टीनेच आत्म्याची ज्योती जगते.

 

दिवाळी म्हणजे दिपोत्सव आत्मा ज्योती जागृत करण्याचा हा सण. ज्ञानाचे घृत जेव्हा ह्या दिपकामध्ये पडेल तेव्हाच आत्मज्योति प्रज्ज्वलित होऊ शकते. आत्मज्योति जागृत झाली तर जीवनातील अज्ञानाचा अंधःकार दूर होईल. धनत्रयोदशी धनाचा सद् उपयोग करण्याची प्रेरणा देते. नरक चतुर्दशी  आळस, प्रमाद, अस्वच्छता, अनिष्टता……. ज्यांनी आपले जीवन नर्क बनले आहे अश्या आसुरी वृत्तींना नष्ट करण्याची प्रेरणा देते. दिवाळीच्या दिवशी ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय !’ हा मंत्र लक्षात ठेऊन जीवनाचा मार्ग ज्ञानाच्या आधारावर प्रकाशित करण्याची प्रेरणा देते. जीवनाची वही नव्याने बनवून जमा-खर्च ह्याचे ज्ञान समजून प्रभुकार्यामध्ये आपल्या शक्तिंचा वापर करून फक्त जमा करण्याचा ध्यास ठेवण्याची प्रेरणा देते. नवीन वर्ष जुने वैर-विरोध संपवून प्रत्येकासाठी शुभचिंतन, शुभ संकल्प करण्याचा दिवस. भाऊबीज अर्थात प्रत्येक स्त्रीला बघण्याची पवित्र दृष्टी देणारा दिवस. असा वेगवेगळ्या विशेषतांनी भरलेले हे ५ उत्सव जर आपण सद्ज्ञानाने आपल्या जीवनात आणले तर आपले जीवन सुख-समृद्धीने नेहमीच प्रकाशित राहील.

चला तर, आज पासून ज्ञानाचा दिपक आपल्या मनामध्ये लावून सर्वांचे जीवन उज्ज्वल करू या. एका दिपकाने अनेकांच्या जीवनातला अंधःकार समाप्त करू या, हाच खरा दिपोत्सव.
