आजच्या आधुनिक युगात मनुष्य हेल्थ कॉन्शियस झाला आहे. प्रत्येक पदार्थ खाताना ते खाताना किती कॅलरीज कॅल्शियम विटामिन्स मिळतील त्याचा हिशोब लावला जातो . तो पदार्थ मशीन ने बनवला असेल तर निश्चिंत होऊन विकत घेतला जातो. आपण खाल्लेल्या प्रत्येक पदार्थाचा आपल्या शरीरावर परिणाम होतो म्हणून जागृत राहणे आवश्यक आहे.
एक सत्य आपण सर्वांच्या लक्षात राहावे म्हणून याचा उल्लेख इथे करत आहे, वैज्ञानिकांनी एक प्रयोग केला ज्यामध्ये दोन छोटी झाडे जे कुंडीमध्ये लावली होती त्यांना वेगवेगळ्या खोलीत ठेवले. एक सारखा सूर्यप्रकाश, पाणी….. दिले गेले परंतु त्याच बरोबर एका झाडाजवळ शास्त्रीय संगीत लावले गेले व दुसऱ्या जवळ पॉप म्युझिक. आठवडाभर हा प्रयोग केला गेला. त्यानंतर निरीक्षण हे होते की ज्या झाडाजवळ शास्त्रीय संगीत लावले होते ते झाड टवटवीत तसेच फुलांनी बहरलेले दिसले, पॉप म्युझिक लावलेले झाड थोडेसे मलुल झालेले दिसले. आणखीन एक प्रयोग केला गेला शिजवलेल्या भातावर. दोन ट्रान्सपरंट डब्यांमध्ये शिजवलेला भात ठेवला गेला. दोघांना वेगवेगळ्या ठिकाणी ठेवले तसेच एका डब्यावर लव तर दुसऱ्या डब्यावर हेट हे शब्द लिहिले होते. दोन व्यक्तींना त्या डब्याजवळ जाऊन त्याच प्रकारचे विचार मनात आणायला सांगितले. लव शब्द दिलेल्या डब्याजवळ जाऊन प्रेमळ विचार तर हेच शब्द लिहिलेल्या डब्याजवळ विरोधात्मक विचार करायला सांगितले. सात दिवस सतत असे विचार केले गेले. सात दिवसानंतर बघितले तर लव लिहिलेल्या डब्यातल्या भातावर थोडी हिरवळ बुरशी आली होती आणि हेट लिहिलेल्या डब्यातल्या भातावर काळी बुरशी आलेली दिसली. तात्पर्य असे की भले झाड असो की पदार्थ यावर आपल्या विचारांचा कळत नकळत परिणाम होतो म्हणून म्हटले जाते , “जसे अन्न तसे मन आणि जसे मन तसे अन्न”.
आपल्या जीवनातला अन्न हा सर्वात महत्त्वाचा आणि गंभीर विषय आहे. कारण आज अन्नामुळेच अनेक प्रकारचे आजार होत आहेत. अन्न शुद्धी म्हणजे सात्विक शाकाहारी भोजन,न शिजवलेले स्वच्छ पदार्थ फक्त एवढेच नाही भाज्या, धान्य स्वच्छ धुऊन मगच वापरावे पण त्याचबरोबर मनाची शुद्धी हीसुद्धा तितकीच आवश्यक आहे.आपल्या शरीरामध्ये विचारांची स्पंदने बाहेरी टाकणारी तीन केंद्रे आहेत.डोळे, हात आणि पाय.जेवण बनवण्यासाठी डोळे आणि हात यांचा वापर होतो. एखादी व्यक्ती छान स्वयंपाक बनवत असेल तर आपण म्हणतो की हिच्या हाताला चव आहे. पण तेच मसाले तीच कृती वापरून कोणी दुसऱ्याने तोच पदार्थ बनवला तर त्याची चव वेगळी असते कारण अदृश्य रित्या विचारांचा मसालाही त्यात पडत असतो. त्याची चवही जाणवतेच. विचारांची ऊर्जा अपरोक्षरीत्या आपल्या शरीरावर तसेच मनावर ही काम करते.
बाह्य शुद्धीची जसे आपण काळजी घेतो तसेच आंतरिक शुद्धीवर ही आपण लक्ष ठेवावे. आपण घरामध्ये शिरा बनवतो. हाच पदार्थ देवा साठी बनवला तर तो प्रसाद मानला जातो घरी बनवला किंवा हॉटेलमध्ये विकला गेला तर त्याला आपण पदार्थ म्हणतो तिन्ही ठिकाणी एकाच पदार्थाचे महत्व वेगवेगळे असते. बनवणाऱ्याची तसेच खाण्यारयाची भावनाही वेगवेगळी असते. म्हणून स्वयंपाक बनवणे हे काम नाही परंतु फार मोठी जबाबदारी आहे.हृदय परिवर्तनची सुंदर प्रेमळ पद्धती म्हणजे अन्न.
आजच्या आधुनिक युगात हॉटेलमध्ये रेकडी वर किंवा घरांमध्ये स्वयंपाक बजावणासाठी आचारी….. हे दृश्य दिसते पण जेवण बनवणाऱ्याची मानसिकता हया अन्नद्ववारे सगळ्याचा मनावर परिणाम करते हे सत्य आज आपल्या ध्यानी नाही. एक राजा होता. एके दिवशी त्याच्या राज्यात गुरूंचे आगमन झाले. राजाला मनापासून वाटत होते की आजची रात्र गुरूने माझ्या राजवाड्यात काढावी. भोजन तसेच आराम करावा. खूप विनवणी केल्यानंतर गुरूंची स्वीकृती मिळाली.राजाने खूप पाहुणचार केला. पंचपक्वाने बनवली गेली.गुरु ही राजा वर अत्यंत खूष झाले .गुरूंच्या झोपण्याची व्यवस्था अशा खोलीत केली गेली जिथे राजाचा सर्व खजाना ठेवला होता. गुरुजी त्या खोलीत झोपायला गेले तर त्यांना झोपही येईना वारंवार त्यांना तो खजाना चोरी करण्याचे विचार येऊ लागले. त्या विचारांनी ते हैराण झाले. सकाळ होताच राजाला सांगितले की मला आचारी ला भेटायचे आहे. आचारी बरोबर एकांतात बसुन त्यांनी त्याची परिस्थिती समजून घेतली. त्याच्या बरोबर बोलताना त्यांना हे समजले कि ह्या व्यक्ती ला पैशाची अडचण असल्यामुळे दिवस-रात्र चोरीचे विचार हयाच्या मनात चालत असतात व हयाचा परिणाम की गुरूंना सुद्धा तेच विचारले आले.
विचार शुद्धि म्हणजेच खरी अन्नशुद्धी. प्रेमाने, शुद्ध विचारांनी, भावनांनी बनवलेले अन्न हेच मनाला आणि तना ला पोषक आहार देते. म्हणून स्वयंपाक बनवताना व्यर्थ,नकारात्मक, चिंताजनक विचारांचा, शब्दांचा वापर टाळावा. स्वयंपाक घरात शांतता ठेवावी. विचारांना श्रेष्ठ बनवणारी गीते,भजन अथवा नामस्मरण याचा उपयोग करावा. एखाद्याचे मन जिंकण्याचा सहज मार्ग म्हणजे अन्न.
